The United Doberman Club (UDC) has a very nice Versatility program to recognize those Dobermans who are versatile companions.  From the UDC website, they say the Versatility program was created to “encourage participation in a wide variety of activities for which the Doberman is suited, and to recognize the trainability and versatility of the Doberman Pinscher.”

I am happy to report that in today’s mail, we received Tyson’s VCX certificate.  He completed the requirements of having at least 10 points in 5 different categories.  The categories he qualified in were: conformation, agility, genetic health, temperament, and other.

I am very proud of Tyson and everything we’ve accomplished together!

March 8, 2012 – Today at the Nashville KC shows in Franklin TN  Tyson’s son Ch. ADAMAS Shock and Awe, “Bullet”, won best of breed over multiple Best in Show winners.  He was handled to this win by Ashley Shaffter for owners Irene and Rick Wilcox.  Bullet is one of three champions in the litter and is a littermate to my Zini.  Congratulations to team Bullet!

In addition to Bullet doing well, his brother, ADAMAS Aftershock, “Tulsa”, went WD/BW for another point.  Thank you to judge Robert Shreve for these great wins.

March 9, 2012 – Ch. ADAMAS Shock and Awe was awarded Select Male towards his Grand Championship under judge Linda Robey.

March 10, 2012 – Speciality Show – Ch. ADAMAS Shock and Awe was awarded Select Male and his brother (and Zini’s brother too!), ADAMAS Aftershock went WD/BW to single out under judge Philip Martin.

March 10, 2012 – All Breed Show – Ch. ADAMAS Shock and Awe went Best of Oppostite while sister Ch. ADAMAS Shockwave, “Shiva” was awarded Select Female towards her Grand Championship under judge Doris Cozart.

Breeder Elizabeth Barret had a great weekend as she was awarded wins with other related dogs she bred, and she finished Ch. ADAMAS All Left Turns RE  “Chevy” on Sunday!  Congratulations!

At the Cobo Hall shows this past weekend, Tyson’s son Ch. ADAMAS Shock and Awe “Bullet” picked up another Select award towards his Grand Championship handled by the talented Ashley Shaffter at the Detroit KC.  Thanks to judge Dr. Michael J Woods.

I had a nice surprise at my training club’s drop-in conformation class this past week.  Ashley Shaffter was there with her mom and they brought along Bullet.  Bullet is on vacation with Ashley while Bullet’s owners, Irene and Rick Wilcox, are on vacation in Florida.  I just love Bullet’s temperament and sweet nature, not to mention he’s one handsome fella!

Ch. ADAMAS Shock and Awe goes best of breed

Congratulations to Ch. ADAMAS Shock and Awe, “Bullet”, for going Best of Breed today in Novi, MI.  This win was over 6  other specials including Top 20 competitors.   Bullet is a Tyson son (and Zini’s brother) who finished Nov 2011 with a big 5 point major.  He is owned by the nicest people who are just a wonderful home, Rick and Irene Wilcox.  He was bred by Elizabeth Barrett (ADAMAS Dobermans) and Frances Hart.

A BIG CONGRATULATIONS to everyone involved!!!!!!!!

A big congratulations to Elizabeth Barrett for finishing Tyson’s daughter, ADAMAS Shockwave “Shiva” today at Clemson KC under judge Mr. David Bolus.  This is the first dog Elizabeth has finished from Bred By Exhibitor, so it’s a very special accomplishment for the girls.

Shiva is the 3rd one to finish from this litter.  Both Zini and Bullet finished Nov. 2011.  Red brother Tulsa is at home maturing and will hit the rings soon.
