Another set of 6 shows in 4 days over the Memorial Day holiday has come and gone. I love these shows since they’re close to home and the Dobe entry is always large which means lots of dogs to enjoy and lots of friends to visit with.
I showed several dogs for friends and was honored and thrilled to finish Can Ch. Goldgrove Heaven’s Messenger, “Gabe”, for his wonderful owner, Deb Dorken at the DPC of Greater Dayton’s specialty show. The judge was Bill Sahloff. He also awarded Gabe’s litter sister, Goldgrove Gift From Heaven a first in her class. I thought he was going to give littermates the wins, but alas, it wasn’t meant to be.

In between shows on Saturday, Tyson came out and strutted his stuff. He looks darn good for 8 1/2 years old! his fan club was out in full force and he loved loved LOVED all of the attention!
