I went down to North Carolina to visit Tyson’s breeder as well as attend a DPCA Working Aptitude Evaluation (WAE).  This was the last thing Tyson needed to get his Register of Merit (ROM) title.  The WAE is a temperament test sponsored by a DPCA Chapter Club.  I knew Tyson’s temperament well enough to know he would pass.  But in addition to needing to pass the test in order to get a ROM, I also felt I could learn something else about his temperament and nerve structure that I didn’t already know.

Tyson was the 2nd dog to be tested and he passed with flying colors.

He is:

  1. an AKC Champion (owner-handled by me)
  2. has a qualifying working title (Novice Jumpers Preferred (NJP) agility title)
  3. he passed the DPCA Working Aptitude Evaluation (WAE)

So, he is now Ch. Talladega’s American Thunder NJP ROM!!!!

I am so proud of all we have done together, as a team.  Atta boy Tyson!
